The Ability to Communicate
Teaching is one of the few professions which rely on consistent, clear communication. The ability to relay ideas and to transfer knowledge is the medium of education. Syntax, pronunciation and tone of voice are essential, yet this skill demands more. Actions, body language, legible writing, selection of media and design of worksheets all promote a clarity of meaning.
